Here, making each day of the year.

To be there, and everywhere. Here, there and everywhere.

He sings this beautifully. Melts a little. The song is a classic.

In the heart of God.

It's perhaps good that I'm not taking the exams yet. Really deserved the big fails today.
Anyway having Mom's side of the family over for dinner and that's something to be happy about.
Sometimes I look at photos of Mom and... I see my own face in hers. I never thought so much that we looked alike but now for some reason it feels more apparent. Sometimes I feel that she looks out at me through the photographs, and sometimes I feel like they are just photographs. If that makes any sense.
Life must change eventually. Other things I want to do before MBBS. Learn how to drive. Go into the MBBS with no stupid excuses about why I missed stuff, having enough understanding, practice and a calm confidence. Be happier. :)

Food in Paris.

Six photographs. They were all tasty and glorious. A good reason to go back... But when?

Away from the East.

Leaving CGH! Today I suddenly thought that, as tired as I am travelling here everyday, we did learn alot. It was kinda nice having the hospital to ourselves too, the patients being not not over-seen by medical students. Accessibility is no problem at CGH too - thanks to the chromosome-like configuration. Nothing is very far away.

Long case was anemia... Haha I will never forget a patient I saw the year before. Dietary deficiency - she was eating fast food for three meals everyday... and having ?menorrhagia. Her Hemoglobin was 4. Fast food is bad folks!

Going to SGH next week. :)

O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.

Monday, February 01, 2010

I miss you ever so much. CNY will not be the same. In my latest dream about you, you were talking to me about your illness. You told me that you were not seeking treatment anymore. I was shocked and said, why didn't you tell me. And your reply was, I've been having the same fever for months... And what was implied was that you didn't want any more suffering.

Wishing I could talk to you more. Things (school, MBBS, people) are so overwhelming at times.
